To my Cosmic peeps,

Well, the time has come for the next chapter of Cosmic Dog. We will be changing hands at the end of the month. We will be passing the bone to Lucky Dog.
I personally want to thank each and every one of you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and your furry friends.

When I first started Cosmic Dog, I had no clue what I was doing. All I knew was that I wanted a fun place for people to wash their dogs and maybe pick up a toy or some home made treats on their way out the door. I learned a lot as I putzed along. Nights were reading and watching youtube, learning business lingo, running numbers, and baking Cosmic cookies. Days were running the shop. The first year was in a secluded location and the days were long. Then one of the few customers I had had a shop they were moving out of right downtown and suggested I take a look! I made the move, hired my first employee, and kept on putzing along as the little dog wash that could. Fast forward to 10 years in my current location. Man, how time flies when you’re having fun!

I remember when Covid hit. We were all devastated and wondering how we were going to make it. That’s when you all stepped up! Your cards of encouragement to keep going, buying those extra items that you really didn’t need, and purchasing gift cards to help keep us afloat. The love was, at times, overwhelming. And because of you, we were able to keep going! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget.

It's been eleven years since Cosmic Dog opened its quirky little shop and now It’s time for the next chapter, a new adventure. I will cherish every single memory made at Cosmic Dog. Lots of stories, lots of fur, and lots of love.

Special thanks go out to my friends and family who stood by me during this dog wash voyage. I owe you all a round of beers! And of course to my awesome customers who, because of you, your loyalty and generosity I’ve had eleven wonderful years with my beloved Cosmic Dog Wash.
